Monday – Foundations of Surgical Excellence

Day one builds the strategic foundation: evidence-based decision-making, digital planning principles, complication prevention, and standardized surgical protocols — followed by the first intensive hands-on session on anatomical models and pig jaws. Lateral ridge augmentation, vertical augmentation, flap design. In small, closely supervised groups.
Evening (optional): Faculty Meet & Greet — international networking in a relaxed setting.

Tuesday – Surgical Precision & Applied Simulation

Day two deepens and expands: sinus lift techniques (lateral and transcrestal), implant planning and placement, connective tissue grafting, complication management algorithms. In the afternoon, you perform complete procedural workflows under realistic surgical conditions — individually coached and fully prepared for the live surgery days ahead.

Wednesday – Live Surgery I: From Skill to Reality

We will enter the surgery phase. Real patients, real cases directly discussed in every detail with you, maximum transparency, maximum learning.

Thursday – Clinical Excellence & Strategic Debriefing

Additional complex live cases in the morning. The afternoon brings structured post-operative debriefings, critical evaluation of surgical decisions, long-term treatment planning, and open collegial exchange. The closing that turns knowledge into lasting clinical competence.

Recipient of the 2016 Daniel Laskin Award (AAOMS) and European Board-certified (FEBOMFS), he co-founded the DMEA Masterclass to set a new standard for surgical education.

Curaçao 2025 was honestly one of the strongest CE weeks I’ve done in years, and not just on the clinical side. The Lower Jaw curriculum sits at a genuinely high level, that part is clear. But what really makes a course like this work is the second layer: CE at a place like Curaçao only attracts a certain kind of colleague. The people in that room are the ones who didn’t just pick dentistry as a job, they turned it into their hobby. Add Curaçao itself on top and you have a combination that’s hard to beat. If you love what you do and your work has basically become your hobby, this is exactly the kind of course you want to be on. I’m back in November.
